:)

Life is the craziest thing i have ever experienced. Once you say "enough" to something that "enough" is a universal word for "You will have plenty". Every time i think that the time for romance is over it takes just around 1 or 2 minutes to make me change my mind. I can quote 2 of the last experiences I had. Last week while walking around the lake behind my house I was thinking to myself... why do i keep tormenting myself with this quest to find my half. I have sought this person all my life without finding anyone, so just stop looking and focus on something more productive. 1 minute later a girl on a bicycle passes by smiling at me and all my plans crumbled in front of me. It took 1 smile and all my rejection for love came back at me stronger than ever. That particular girl did 3 laps of the lake and all I was able to mumble was " Hei " and do that gesture of complete embarrassment where i touch my legs with the palm of my hand. Then again today while I was taking a shower I was thinking the same thing. That girl did smile to me on the lake but I am still in the same spot, nothing changed. Why lose my time with love when love doesn't love me back? And after 2 minutes my mom told me, Rebecca from Sweden keeps asking for you. I have the highest regards for this girl. First time I met her in Malmö just after arriving in Copenhagen I was very anxious because I didn't know her nor her family and I was supposed to stay there for 2 weeks and she took all that anxiousness away with the most wonderful smile ever. Copenhagen was the city of love in my mind. I have planned a trip to go to Copenhagen forever and I always thought that I would find love there... And I sort of did, I met Kyoko. She came to Italy and stayed at my house for a couple of weeks. I always thought that she was the one that got away and that I was an idiot person to let her go. I didn't let her go, she chose a different guy to spend her time with. Rebecca tho was never in my plans, she was the "unreachable". Too young, too sweet, too well mannered. I didn't want to break her perfect world. :)

Chances are that Rebecca will not be the love of my life but still this story made me smile. Love is like this. It is hard and it keeps hurting you again and again but it takes one smile to heal every wound and take you to paradise.
